YOU WON’T FIND A CLEANER YSS-61 ANYWHERE.
 
This Yamaha YSS-61 is one of the earliest examples you’ll see - at serial number 1002. It plays like a dream and looks like it just left the factory. The lacquer and keywork are remarkably well preserved for a horn of this vintage, with the kind of cosmetic and mechanical condition collectors and serious players both require. It’s a classic professional Yamaha soprano: centered, responsive and ready for the practice room or the studio.
 
What makes this one a true time capsule is the complete original package. It comes with the original Yamaha case in nice shape, plus the original case keys, inspection document and warranty card - all still in their original plastic sleeve. Also included are the original Yamaha YSS-L1 ridged mouthpiece, ridged ligature and mouthpiece cap. Horns this early rarely survive with the paperwork and accessories together like this.
