If you haven't tried a Conn New Wonder II - often called a CHU BERRY horn - you've been missing out. This one will turn 100 years old in 2029.
The tone of these old Conns is something you have to experience. The sound is just "thick" - like floating into a vat of luke-warm chocolate. It's like an extension of your voice.
This one will need a few new pads eventually (the low B has a tear), but overall, it seals OK. No dents or repairs are evident.
