TRADES WELCOME!
This 73,XXX serial numbered Mark VI tenor saxophone is one of 2,070 Selmer tenors sold in the US in 1958. It has been adjusted by my trusted technician and plays on pads that seal nicely and won't need to be replaced for a long time.
The last overhaul date is unknown as this sax came from an estate sale. The engravings are very crisp, but we suspect that this one receiving a top-quality relacquer from the factory. You can see from the photos that the specialist didn't overdo it with the buffing. What a jewel!
And she sounds GREAT! I'll work up a video soon.
Feel free to request more photos. We've taken a TON of pictures so you'll know what you're getting.
We'll be listing some other nice horns very soon - including a Yanagisawa T9933 tenor and an overhauled 1974 MKVI alto with high F# plus a few others.
Pickup is in Melbourne, Florida, USA or shipping is at the buyer's cost. Thanks for looking!
