This 1926 Buescher True Tone Curved Soprano Saxophone, now celebrating its 100th year, is a rare and beautifully preserved example of one of the most iconic American soprano designs ever produced.

Finished in original silver plate, it carries the unmistakable elegance and craftsmanship of Buescher’s golden era, with the graceful curvature and ornate engraving that have made these instruments favorites among collectors and vintage‑horn enthusiasts. We've left 100 years of tarnish on the silver as the dark finish looks great.

Mechanically, this soprano is in good playing condition on older pads. The keywork retains that classic Buescher feel: light, nimble and surprisingly ergonomic for a 1920s design.

The horn speaks easily across the full range, offering the warm, centered, slightly reedy voice that True Tones are known for.

Whether you’re performing, recording or simply savoring the sound of a century‑old American soprano, this instrument delivers a tone that modern horns simply don’t replicate.

PLAYERS: a charming, character‑rich soprano with a unique voice.
COLLECTORS: a milestone piece; a 100‑year‑old, curved soprano from one of the most respected makers of the period, retaining its silver finish.

Curved sopranos from this era are increasingly scarce, and examples in this condition are even harder to find. A remarkable instrument with history, personality and undeniable vintage appeal.

Mouthpiece not included.
