Selmer Paris Series III Alto Saxophone - Black Lacquer, Serial 667151
TRADES WELCOME!
This 2004 Selmer Paris Series III alto is a true professional instrument that's also an outstanding choice for a serious student.
Black lacquer over yellow brass, mini-rib construction, Series III bore, high F# and Selmer’s automatic double C# mechanism give it the focused response, even scale and clear projection the model is known for.
This one is an excellent player from top to bottom. It recently returned from a full COA (clean/oil/adjustment) with our trusted repair technician and it's ready to play. Pads seal great, the action is smooth and even and the instrument speaks easily with a centered, colorful tone.
Cosmetics include some lacquer wear near the thumb rest only. No pull-down on the neck, just one small ding on the bell and the rest of the black-and-gold finish looks used but nice.
If you're looking for a French-made Selmer professional alto without new-horn pricing, this is one of the best. Students can own a pro horn that makes practicing more fun, auditions more effective, ensembles sound better and lesson time most effective for the rest of their career. Working players get a dependable Series III that's already set up and ready for the stage.
If you're in Central Florida, come try it in person and compare it side-by-side with my other modern and vintage Selmer, Yamaha, Conn, Eastman, Buescher, Yanagisawa and Keilworth saxes in the shop.
Thanks for looking!
