This 172,XXX serial numbered Mark VI tenor saxophone was first sold in 1969. It has been adjusted by our technician and plays on pads that seal nicely and won't need to be replaced for a long time.
The last overhaul date is unknown as this came from an estate sale. She's 57 years old, but the lacquer is near perfect. What a jewel!
There are a couple small bumps, the neck appears to have a pull-down repair, and it still has the microphone pickup installed. The mic and cable are included. All can be seen in the photos.
I also have a handful of Warburton tenor necks available if the buyer would like to try this sax with one. Warburton necks are modular, so you get to choose the inner taper. They're quite amazing - and are sometimes better than the original necks.
